LCM BY DIVISION METHOD

Steps for finding LCM by division method

1. Write the numbers in a row, separated by commas.

2. Find the smallest prime number that divides at least one of the numbers and divide it out.

3. Repeat this process until all the numbers are prime or 1.

4. Multiply all the prime divisors together to find the LCM.

EXAMPLE:

1. Find the LCM of 12, 18.

2. Find the LCM of 62, 108.

3. Find the LCM of 6, 12, 18.
